Mr S.Corless - Subject Leader, Coordinating Specialist Status (B&E) Enterprise Mrs M.Stock - Teacher in charge of K55 ICT & ICT support Miss C De-Lange - Teacher in charge of Enterprise. Teacher of Business Studies, ICT & Enterprise Mr C Marcellin - Business Studies, ICT & Enterprise Mr S. Corless teaches within another subject area. There are currently two ICT specialists on the staff. Also, Mrs. M. Stock besides teaching has many technical support duties to carry out. In addition the role of I.C.T. Co-ordinator is implemented by Mr S. Corless via Mr Stuart Beck, Clerk to the Governors. Due to the growing demand for ICT technical support Mr John Pattison was employed as the school’s ICT technician in March 2002. Mr Pattison is now our Network Manager contracted on a full-time basis to offer technical/hardware support. Since the school became designated as Business and Enterprise specialist school in September 2005, there has been an increased need for technical support. From November 2008, Mr Darren Barlass was appointed as an ICT Technician to support Mr Pattison as the provision of hardware and software has increased. The I.C.T. technical support provided is responsible for maintaining all the computer equipment in the school. The provision for technical support is aimed at helping staff and students with ICT problems when time allows. As the Curriculum network has expanded (345+ workstations) a greater degree of time has been given over to ensure that the networks are running effectively throughout the school. |
