Chaplaincy Team
In addition to employing a part time school chaplain, Sacred Heart also has the privilege of having a team of “pupil chaplains” who help around the school and were invaluable to the RE Department, particularly before Cleo was employed.
Cleo writes… “There are girls in Year 13 who have served the school since they were in year 10 and we are eternally greatful for all their hard work and commitment. To ease their burden, now that they are in their final year, I have recruited some new year 10’s to support them and take over when they leave. I think it is a credit to the girls and to the school that there is a team each year who are willing to voluntarily help with the spirituality of the school. The girls are definitely following Christ’s footsteps.”
Plans for the future see girls joining each year to keep a regular pool of helpers in the team.
