CITIZENSHIP PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION

The emphasis of the course is preparation for life beyond school and includes topics related to personal development and Careers, Education and Guidance.

In addition, students have a series of separate Careers Education lessons. The aim of the careers Programme in year 10 is to assist pupils in considering their strengths, talents and interests, as well as to gain information and formulate ideas about courses and jobs. This enables them to begin to make sensible, informed and realistic vocational and educational decisions.

All pupils in Year 10 will have the opportunity to undertake two weeks' Work Experience.
