Pupils and teachers arrange a first hand experience of scientific experiments that pupils will encounter throughout their science lessons. The year 7 pupils play an important role in explaining to their year 6 friends what science is like at the Sacred Heart. Girls from all other years assist with experiments ranging from making slime ! to microscope work. There is a demonstration of ‘Disco Physics’ where the Van de Graaf generator is always a big hit with both pupils and visitors.
